Best Gold Farming Class

I can't decide between a hunter and a mage alt to gold farm with since prot warrior is not good for gold farming. Which do you guys think is generally more efficient for farming gold and mats for the consumables I need to MT in progression raids?

The Hunter Mara farm(Princess, griz, rotgrip) is pretty efficient. Even moreso if u are herb/enchanter

A priest with one talent point in Holy Nova can AoE farm the lashers in DM E quite effectively as well. There's currently a topic in the priest subforum about it:
