Video talking about good things from Vanilla and WOD and how to get rid of all the other bs since then to try to make leveling not as much of a joke.

But i doubt that will happen, so nostalrius all the way! :)

Let me know what your ideas are.

Lol yeah fair point. I stupidly bought the expansion and 1 month sub... Played for about 2 weeks in which time i got to level 100 and hated it. Just slightly different menu options at the highest level.

Expires in 2 weeks and i'm back on nost now :P

I recently went back to WoW after a 2.5 years break. I took my level 85 main to the Jade Forest. All I did, I swear, was 80-85% of the quests, mined ghost iron, and killed 2-3 rares. I was then level 91...a level above MoP's maximum. How is that in any way sensible :S.

I got bored within a week and now I just run 10-25 mans myself for mounts. I can't face the rest of MoP, everything about it just puts me off. My OCD means I can't jump straight to WoD, but from what I hear that would disappoint me too.

They should delete everything and start again.

Blizzard went about removing difficulty from the game haphazardly.

They axed nearly all the social difficulties in the game, things like having to form your own groups and raids. They also undermined the existence of anything resembling a community at every step.

There's a big difference between removing a needless difficulty to streamline your gaming experience, and gutting an element that gives depth to the world.

I honestly like the leveling flow of retail a lot better. Instead of running around the whole world trying to find quests in remote locations, you're sent from quest hub to quest hub, and if you ever get lost, it shows you on the map where you can pick up more quests that you haven't done.

The problem with retail leveling is that it's way too fucking easy. Nothing poses any sort of challenge. Quest mobs die in like 5 seconds for any class. It feels more like Diablo than WoW.

Level 85-90 content has reduced EXP requirement because it's a previous expansion.

Retail is a lost cause, for me. They've taken the game way too far in a direction I do not agree with. I'm done with retail WoW forever.

Cool vid tho. 8-)
