The real problem with "everyone" going to Kronos is that Kronos is pay to win. So the real problem is with the server itself.

I urge everyone to check out Valkyrie (https://valkyrie-wow.org/news/)

- similar current content
- have openly stated they accept transfers (but you already know this because you already clicked the link above)

How is Kronos "Pay to Win" - I'm confused by this comment. I've been playing on it since this morning.. The server is Blizz-like and extremely stable. You can buy your epic mount (by donating), but that is as far as paying money will get you. I don't think this constitutes "Pay to Win" considering there were hundreds of people who bought gold to buy theirs on this server and Blizzard's own back in the day.

our guild rerolled alliance on kronos to check it out, and after almost 40hrs in this is what i can say
-pet pathing is kinda buggy (zeps and boats) and they get stuck on alot of terrain
-from what i can gather, all gear has been implemented and upgraded to final stats (op blues are in, t0.5 is in)
-what you can 'buy' ingame are vanity pets/mounts/tabards

the only sore spot, if you can even call it one, is you can buy/trade/sell in house on kronos, which is fine by me. imo its safer that going through a 3rd party

That's awesome. I didn't realize you still need to buy the riding skill even after purchasing the mount itself through donations.. Uhm... So "Pay to Win" ... I don't think so.

Edit: I loved Nost - It was hands down the best Vanilla server. It had the best community. But until it is reborn, if that time ever comes, I'll be enjoying my time on Kronos.

And the original big Nost community will be split between multiple servers. The more time passes without a new "official" nost data based server the more invested people are gonna be on Kronos and the less people will be on the nost realm.

Honestly, I'm not worried. Nost is in my heart.

Kronos is not blizzlike x7 xp shit with item shop and bugged pets/textures, account and gold trading.
Rebirth is not bad but with shitty population 600 online.

I played Rebirth for a year prior to Nost.

I left because of player harrassement, sadly. I literally couldn't leave a city without a particular player (level 60) using an Alliance alt to find the zone I was in and then killing me (level 20 or so). It didn't get stopped, so I left.

It's a good server, 1x, Vanilla, all that jazz - the problem it has is that the admin have consistently, over a few years, made high level mistakes (inadequate backups, siting the server in Canada, etc) such that just as the population starts to really build up, the server stops working for a couple of months, and the server pop drops back down to the hard core of about 100, 150 players.

If they could stop doing that, they'd do well.

Kronos isn't nostalrius, but is quite good, has good scrips and is very stable. If i had to chose, i'd go kronos without any doubt

Sad to hear about what happened to this server... however, I'm just gonna give you guys a little insight regarding Valkyrie. I've been on that server since the original Scriptcraft went down, they imported SC's player database and that was my main reason for playing there. The server was very active for some time, and it really just saw a major pop decline when Nost opened up. Valk is a true blizz-like server just like Nost, and scripting is reputed to be better than all Vanilla servers out there. Although the population is mostly Russian for the past, I'm seeing more Nost refugees and old players returning. If you guys want a stable, well scripted server... Valk would be your best option. Currently, AQ20 is open, and AQ40 development is at 85%... once they get devs to join the team (which will likely happen if the population goes up again), I'm positive AQ40 will be up and running.
