Kronos is actually great, the influx of nost players had been met with open arms(mostly), the server is stable, bar a few restarts(which is expected with a couple thousand new players all turning up at once). and they've introduced the new anti-VPN, so the chinese invasion is literally minimal, think I've seen like 1 person selling gold so far, and the server is filling out v nicely..... jump on board the KRONOStalrius train, its happy days.

I really don't like using this word but I think in this case it is very appropriate: Fuck Kronos. That community is toxic beyond belief. Their contempt for Nostalrius is no secret in forum postings. This is how they welcomed Nost refuges. Why would anyone want to play on a server that is openly hostile towards you and, because it's PVP, able to make your game play miserable?

P.S. Stop using KRONOStalrius. That's misleading. Nostalrius doesn't officially recognize any kind of "merger" with Kronos.

P.P.S. Nostalrius, not Kronos - not Rebirth - not PlayTBC - not any other private server, is responsible for forcing Blizzard to acknowledge legacy servers is something a lot of people want.

you cannot hold the whole server community responsible and judge them by the actions of 15-20 morons, hell if nost like that nobody would've played there... same % of morons but on a bigger scale, which is the lesser of 2 evils?.

I infact quite enjoy kronos, lets face it I'm not getting my rank 13 rogue back anytime soon, so hey why the fuck not go and actually enjoy the game with my guild, on a server that is openly holding back the chinese via VPN and its progressive like nost was...

Lol I know what you mean, and I was going to mention that. Technically all wow characters are "temporary". Maybe I should just level on Kronos. Its a good alternative for now.

on side note- i remember levelling in westfall on nost, with horde coming and killing the defias traitor and alliance locks, releasing infernals at the deadlines entrance... did i cry?, did i leave the server? no, i kinda just got on with it after reporting it...

And to your initial point, yes I can hold the entire server responsible because none of you made any efforts to curtail and condemn their actions. Silence speaks volumes. You knew Nostalrius players were incoming. Instead of welcoming them, your community attacked them.

Have to agree with you. Don't take this like I have/had something against Nost, but there's so many people complaining about anything that happens on K, and acting like it makes it the worst server ever. Didn't Nost about a year ago have some troll hunter basically grief the whole westfall for days? Yet when somebody releases one infernal on K it's "fuck that server the lvl 60's are scum".

To be honest the nost community was WAY worse than Kronos is.

BUT: Both communities as a whole were great, yet in my opinion (playing there since a few days) the community on kronos is better/on par with nost.

Don't trust some shitty youtube vids or random guys that tell you stuff (like me lol) go play there for a while.

I once showed a friend a stream from a nostalrius player and while we were watching he got "stream sniped" (oh what rarity) and camped by 3 guys, 1 @ gy and 2 @ corpse. My friend just said "well that's a shitty server mate" but I convinced him that not all guys are like that.

long story short : Nost will not come back. Go play other games if you want. If you want to play vanilla wow and like huge populated realms give kronos a try for a few days.


edit: I've yet to run into psychopaths like OGsucker or the other various autists we had here

i like how you think that you are inferring that dropping infernals and doomguards in major cities or starting zones is anything new. and that it was only done to fuck with the nost refugees.
