Just gonna list some of my favourites these days... I listen to anything really, as long as it isn't radio pop.
J.A.M. - Mint (album: Just Another Mind | year: 2010)
Japan has a ridiculous amount of good jazz and hip hop musicians/composers. Very overlooked music scenes there.
CYNE - Paradise (single: Movements | year: 2002)
and also
Maintain (EP: Running Water | year: 2005)
Yes, I do love me some underground hip hop. Especially those that incorporate jazz and blues.
Spyro Gyra - Lovin' You (album: Catchin the Sun | year: 1980)
Just a classic by a classic band, really.
The Seatbelts - What Planet is This!and
Don't Bother Noneand
AdieuCan't really go wrong with this show. Especially not the music in it. Some of the best jazz and blues soundtracks you can find.
Dada - Heaven and Nowhere (album: American Highway Flower | year: 1994)
Very underrated american 90s alternative rock band. My favourite 90s rock band of all time. (Sorry, the YT sound quality is pretty sub-par)
Street Fighter 3rd Strike - Main ThemeIf you played this game in the arcades... This game was the bomb, and still is. Also great music in it.
And last but not least, of course...
Megadeth - Holy Wars and
Lucretia (album: Rust in Peace | year: 1990)
That whole album is 5/5 stars, finest Thrash metal album ever recorded by far, imo.
