Which WoW expansion is your favorite?

I'm gonna throw a bit of a curveball here - my favourite expansion was Mists of Pandaria.

Yeah, it had its issues. Mediocre five mans and a bit too much of a casual focus. But I loved the actual continent of Pandaria, the lore behind it, and most importantly - the raids. The raids were a blast, save for HoF. The Thunder King raid is still my favourite, despite playing for nearly 11 years now.

I quit for Cata and WoD, they're atrocious. But something about Mists plucked at my heart strings just right. I'm in the minority by far, but Mists is always going to be my personal favourite.

Right with you on that. It wasn't a bad expansion at all, but of course it had issues that everyone who played should be aware of.
When it comes to questing and leveling however, nothing have beaten MoP. It was genuinely a fun experience that I see little to no flaws or issues with. Not to mention that aesthetically, Pandaria was absolutely gorgeous.

Its a hard question.
At Classic everything was new and it was amazing to explore. So this must be one of the best moments in our WoW life.
But we're talking about expansions, so, the best so far is TBC in my opinion.
It was the first expansion and full with features that have never been in this game before.

The next few expansions gave us, most of the time, only things we already had - just a little bit modified.

So, TBC, far away from every other.

TBC and Vanilla constantly battle for best IMO. TBC had the fixed talent specs, Draenei women (Love me some goat girls), Blood Elves (some of the biggest assholes in lore), and epic armors like Corrupted, Malefic and Voidheart that just made Locks looks ungodly amazing..

But Vanilla has that charm of using level 47 staves and whatnot as BiS for pre-raid gear and the open world being filled with players. Not to mention the only real problem I had with it was the role pigeonholing due to bad talents Personally I'd kill for a 2.0.1 server but that'd never happen.

vanilla is not expansion FYI, anyways BC is way too overrated, brought great dungeons and some raids were great but on the otherside it brought the casualization aswell, and the moans began since then, Half of Wotlk was okay, Release of Cata was great, then with the next patch they just nailed the coffin on the otherside MoP nailed coffin right on release then redeemed itself in PvP/PvE part, WoD great, until as a hardcore raider you had to fucking do the bullshit garrison.
The problem is the ppl crying about PvP balance, bringing classes to be completely same as each other, you just choose the name of spells and fancy effects:<

but if we look on the content and shit ppl loved it's like Vanilla>Wotlk>MoP>TBC>WoD>Cata
Raids on the other hand MoP>WoD(bit subjective just did few M in BRF before nost released)>Wotlk>Cata>BC>Vanilla
PvP in the way of balance is best at WoD
but PvP as all the fun and counters is just blatantly at it's peak in it's 'brokeness' in Vanilla.

You may say shit about legion after you played it:< bashing it beforehand makes you look like ignorant.
