Anything that makes noise can be out of tune if it's coupled with anything else that makes noise.

This may be difficult for you to understand, but lets say that you're trying to rap like you normally do. The monotone droll that is your voice (the sound that comes out of the hole in your face that you stuff dicks into) is going at a B, and the song you're mispronouncing words to rhyme to is in A#. Your voice is out of tune. In tune would be the same key as the song, or a key with a root note that falls on a scale based on the song's key.

There is indeed a difference. Singing takes talent, and rapping is something that children in developed countries learn how to do in the first year or two of school.


Also, Mr.Webster, harmonization refers to notes, not timing. They're similar in that you can't grasp either though.
