Man that wall of text was amazing. Well done, OP. Seriously. It's missing just one thing.

You're supposed to post a link where Blizzard staff members stepped in to moderate or punish players for what they typed in a private chat channel. Or a link where a Blizzard staff member did something for players that were kicked out of a private chat channel. Something dated from the 2005 to 2007 era would be great.

If enough people feel the channel is moderated improperly, they will leave and create a new channel. Most people don't think it's moderated improperly, just you. Ever consider you might be the problem, not the moderation?

LOTS of people have had a problem with it. *EDIT*

CHANNELS DO NOT HAVE PERMANENT OWNERS. It's just the same couple of douche bags convincing people who don't know anything to pass owner to them. It splits the community when people have to make another channel.

THERE ARE MANY POSTS ABOUT THIS ISSUE. EVERYONE WHO WANTS TO SAY IT'S NOT A PROBLEM NEEDS TO OFF TO ANOTHER THREAD

I've seen you banned by many different moderators from different guilds for behaving like a little brat.

Ironic. People who disagree with you need to make a new thread? Isn't that exactly what I told you to do with global channels?

I'm with Ganjitsu for the most part. There is absolutely no cons to having a proper global chat other than maybe having less players idle in main cities..Heck I don't understand why its such a debate in the first place.

Is it because its not ''blizzlike''? give me a break. So we should be all gimped on forming parties and selling items/services because that's not how it was 10 years ago? Listen to yourself for a moment, how masochist can you be? Will it actually completely ruin your ''blizzlike'' experience? If anything people will just connect with 2 accounts, one will be your main(questing, gathering or actually traveling to a dungeon) and another a bank alt just so you can browse/use trade chat to sell or advertise your main who's trying to form or join a party. Of course, at the end of the day its just the owners of the server who decides to bother with it or not.

Right click chat log, hover over join new channel, select lookingforgroup. If you pick something up you think is valuable, put it up on AH or wait till you go to a city to sell it.
