Oh, or this crazy Finnish like 20yo kid lifting ridiculous weights (music's retarded, but don't mute it so you can hear the crazyness):

I dont like how that Finnish kid is squatting the weight, he is like primarily relying on the stretch reflex at the bottom, as you can see he almost grinds to a halt when he is half-way up on every single rep. If he was relying on muscle power the fastest part of the rep would be at the top half of the movement. Although he is strong, I doubt he will be injury free for the long-term.

C'mon man lol.

This guy's an olympic lifter (so, not a bodybuilder), Finnish champion, afaik one of the best in his age group at least in the EU, there's a video of him squatting 250kg at the age of 20 (about 3x his bw), lifts crazy weights in all of his competing lifts (obviously) and you don't think his squatting is good?

Not everybody gets their squatting help from bodybuilding.com. Or you reckon if he gets injured (injuries do happen) that he should contact you in order to win the next olympics?

ass to grass at that weight is impressive, and hes not even wearing a belt or wraps...

Clarence hit 256kg at 18 years old tho https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QsvPp6cGn4U

dive bombing is all good if you can maintain tightness. respect to anyone that goes ATG or below parallel, I see so many half/quarter squatters these days =/

Idd, people squat like tinmen to half/quarter depth and then complain how squatting hurts their knees.

Impressive that guy. Can't fathom how people are so strong at that age.

This is my favourite squatting video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XkK9-mnDAy4

He's not young, but 5 reps of 200kg front squats as smooth as they can be, at a bw of probably early 70's.

There's also a video of that same Finnish guy starting his squat training at 20kg x 20, then with each set he increases weight by 10kg and decreases reps by 1. So next se would be 30kg x 19. He ends it with 210kg x 1 and it took him 1 hour 43 minutes. >.< crazy.

You know, if we tweaked WoW to include a weight bench, treadmill, etc., so that you ran faster in game by running faster in life and hit harder by lifting more weight, we would have the buffest nerds in the history of mankind... a whole army of insanely jacked gamers.

the angle is different so can target your lats better, maybe feels better for some people and not others, that was my first time doing it like that, felt pretty good

Makes sense depending on the equipment I guess, on the one I use I would be forced bend a little backwards in order to do it in a reversed position.

Don't take this the wrong way, it's all in good spirit.
I noticed how you use your legs a lot, e.g. notice how your toes lift from the ground on the last exercise. That is kinda counterproductive when it's your back muscles you're trying to hit. You might want to drop the weight down to a point where your back can handle the weight on its own, while still keeping it tough ofc.

it was my first time back at the gym in 2 months so I was going pretty light on weight just to get back in to it, weight was a little to light on that last exercise so I was just pulling that weight with to much power and was overbalancing myself, thats why my toes come up lol
