I tried Kronos too and it's not to my liking either.

We'll wait for the nost dev team to release their improved version of ManGos. A new server will emmerge for sure.

They are not releasing anything, i suggest you to read the new announcement.

They will release their server files (or so they say). It's open source. It's an emulator (that worked better than the original ). Blizzard can do shit about that. They can only either respond, or sit back and wait for a shitstorm of working vanilla servers. "Hydra of Lerna"

The Playtbc can be taken either way really. You can say the devs are retarded immature kids, or you can say the huge influx of demand was unanticipated creating issues.

I hope for the better of the situations and only time will tell what happens. As long as it stays true to tbc and no in game stores pop up I'll be happey.

Let's be real here, had Nostalrius released with 10k+ players wanting to instantly play it would've crashed and burned like most fan-driven things are since the lack of resources to sustain such things, especially if they come as a surprise.

Guys, look. There is something you don't get in the big picture.
And hey, I ain't immature. You think that my friends are, too ? We've been playing WoW since 2005-2006 for christ sake! We ain't the kids we were back then... But what ever.

PlayTBC saw/knew what happened with Nostalrius. The community. Everything! I bet that they also read the knews - 150 000 ACTIVE ACCOUNTS! And still, they said: "2 servers with 3.5k cap". Are you stupid or something?! They already had like 5k registered players in their forum! NOW --> they are even MORE --> around 8 000 people. What does that tell you?

And another fact: they "tried" or "tried to show" to the Nost community (and of course, other people) that they are "nice" , "friendly" and "community driven" etc! And that is something that we saw from/in Nostalrius Dev Team! And we thought that we 'were dealing' with the 'same' individuals. And I made my point on that: some of them are kids. And they don't know what they are dealing with. Look at the DDoS attack on their web-site... Jesus christ... but yeah, w/e

And yet, they say: 2xservers with 3.5k CAP when there are like (As we already know) 20k people waiting to log in and play. AND THEY DIDN'T EXPECT THAT? Lol. LOL.

People are thirsty for Nostalgia! Literally. The true WoW.

And please, not only that. I've seen the moderator for my country in the forum of PlayTBC - complete moron. I bet that he said: "hey, I am from .... can I create a forum for my counry : ) : O ? : P ? " - and they "hired him"...... WTF? All I mean is: WHO the heck DOES THAT??

Another thing: we all saw what they said/tweeted and also proclaimed in their stream. And eventually they crashed their server. Well, excuse me but, wtf? Also: the realm list was not correct, and they changed it in the last minute of their "launch"..................

A lot of mistakes. A lot.

Should I continue? Fck no.

And I don't really care any more. I am waiting for Nostalrius to come back (if that is ever gonna happen). CUZ I AM FREAKIN MAD AT BLIZZ! I CANT DESCRIBE IT MATE! FCK :@ ! I had great time here. Made a lot of friends. I even spoke/had a conversation with Pottu ingame! ...

Hilarious how people expected a small private server to handle 18k concurrent players.

Nost had a fraction of that and launch day was a shitshow anyway.

Don't get your hopes up for the next attempt: No matter what the devs do, PlayTBC will simply not launch until a large portion of the playerbase goes somewhere else or gives up.

Blizzard is getting pounded on their social media accounts everywhere in favor of legacy servers and Nostalrius. Big news outlets like Forbes and BBC picked up the story. You even have former WOW creators supporting legacy content like Mark Kern's recent tweet.
