Blizzard? Naah, I don't think they waste their time on this dude, lel.
Obviously Payo recvied alot of reports for the copyright law. Meaning, Twitch banned him, which is legit true. It had to happen, everyone knew and he should've known himself. So why go so far? Again, who's this guy? I actually gave a shit now.
I disagree. Blizzard is probably involved.
Take Sodapoppin for example, he regularly talks about Nostlarius and flat out says "I'd rather be playing on Nostalrius... but I can't stream it." That's a large amount of viewers being introduced to Nostlarius (it's how I learned about it). Blizzard stepping in early and preventing streamers that are gaining popularity (Payo or Chakaog) from streaming Nostalrius is just the small start of Blizzard's crusade against Nostalrius.
Right now Nostlarius has about 20-30k players. That's miniscule compared to what Blizzard has in retail. As Nostalrius grows in popularity and if they were to release a second PVP server to help balance the numbers, the number of players are going to continue to grow. The more they grow, the more threatened Blizzard is going to be at losing subscribers to private servers.
