Blizzard? Naah, I don't think they waste their time on this dude, lel.
Obviously Payo recvied alot of reports for the copyright law. Meaning, Twitch banned him, which is legit true. It had to happen, everyone knew and he should've known himself. So why go so far? Again, who's this guy? I actually gave a shit now.

point being, twitch is not going to ban away their users if noone reported him, they do want more traffic on their website for more revenue

it's by far not the first time blizzard sends in DMCA takedown notices to twitch

Don't you think Blizzard has a strong connecting regarding this matter? Ofcourse he recived alot of reports if he was so "famous" for streaming this server. The more reports the more quicker twitch looks at it.

Oh ffs come on, of course Blizzard is involved.

Seeing this shit sucks because streams help people come to Nostalrius. I've gotten so many people to come play on Nost because of my stream.

I disagree. Blizzard is probably involved.

Take Sodapoppin for example, he regularly talks about Nostlarius and flat out says "I'd rather be playing on Nostalrius... but I can't stream it." That's a large amount of viewers being introduced to Nostlarius (it's how I learned about it). Blizzard stepping in early and preventing streamers that are gaining popularity (Payo or Chakaog) from streaming Nostalrius is just the small start of Blizzard's crusade against Nostalrius.

Right now Nostlarius has about 20-30k players. That's miniscule compared to what Blizzard has in retail. As Nostalrius grows in popularity and if they were to release a second PVP server to help balance the numbers, the number of players are going to continue to grow. The more they grow, the more threatened Blizzard is going to be at losing subscribers to private servers.

I've been watching Payo a lot in recent weeks. I've noticed his viewer count going up more and more. from averaging like 60 people. To 100. to 150. this week over 200 all the time.
Every 5th person in the chat was asking what the server was and how to play. There is no doubt in my mind some righteous asshole at blizzard was the cause to his ban.

I watched since he is pretty much the only streamer that actually does PvP from time to time. All the others
solely stream premade bgs, pve content or worse yet CHORES... Don't understand how I can enter a stream and see 50 people watching someone fish... Anyways, We'll miss you Payo!

I agree with your point of view. But then again, it's not confimed that Blizzard was involed. But it might true. I still belive it's because of number of reports Payo recvied, but it could also be Blizzard.

If it's reports, why are the people that spam in game about their stream untouched? I've never seen payo spam his stream in trade, but the people who do were not banned. You would think it would be reverse situation. Blizzard is definitely involved. Let's not forget too that Legion alpha was released 1-2 weeks ago and people are streaming it. This is not a coincidence.

of course it's blizzard you idiot. If I report someone for streaming Nostalrius, why would Twitch give a fuck? World of Warcraft is not MY property, it belongs to BLIZZARD. Only reports from BLIZZARD matter when trying to shut down a stream that is going against copyright laws. Use your fucking head mate why would they say "oh steve from Iowa said he doesn't want this guy streaming Nostalrius because blizzard copyrighted WoW. better listen to Steve or he could potentially sue us for millions of dollars"(p.s. he can't, blizzard could)
