Nostalrius ended... Where did it's refugees end up?

I play on magicwow, a blizzlike vanilla PVE server. The quest experience is x2 during the beta. No p2w, very friendly community, but small population.

I went back to my original MMO addiction, Everquest! I am trying their time locked progression server and absolutely loving it. The one I am on is only on the first expansion, Kunark. NEVER have a hard time finding a group either and there is 300+ in my guild. Very healthy population as I have managed to level to 45 in a few weeks.

I ultimately want to play a legacy wow server like Nostalrius whether that is through blizzard or licensed but this is really taking my boredom away while I wait!

Kronos was always Nostalrius' "nemesis" in the communities eyes, shocking how they have a store, regardless of it only being vanity items it still doesn't make me want to play there. Looking4Group looks interesting, but 3x rates.

I'm struggling to go onto anything Vanilla unless it says Nostalrius or Official Blizzard Legacy servers on the front...

Argh guys, give me a time machine so I can go back one year to Nostalrius' launch...

Servers:

- Nostalrius PVP. Lag/delay 24/7 plus some annoying bugs and overpopulation.
- Kronos. Custom shit, broken quests and class such as ret pala. Wood walls against DDoS attacks
- Nostalrius PVE. Close to perfect, but i guess it would have some issues.
- Vanillagaming. P2W.
- Retrowow. Retarded server.
- The rebirt. 0 Population.
- Vanilla.re 0 pop, unknown server
- Valkyrie. unknown

- Legacy retail server. It doesn't exist.

Rebirth almost hit 2k pop last weekend, granted a lot were from kronos. Before that it was stilling around 1.2k players. Nothing like nostalrius, but its a lie to say the population is 0

but the patch 2.0 only means content, your 2.4.3 client works fine.

Yeah I almost reinstalled p99 because Everquest classic was my first love, but I feel like if I reinstalled i'd be jumping into a black hole that sucks up time. I like the game but everytime I start playing again I can't help but think, "do I really want to waste another few years playing this?" Before I install it again anyway.
