Why yes I have actually, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Germany, Czech Rep., Belgium, France. My statement still stands. This wasn't a gay bar this is on the street, like men dressing as women and no one batting an eye or just wearing weird shit over all.

to all the girl pics here, i can only imagine they suddenly get harrassed in game by some horny guys.

Honestly, nope - 8,5 years without breaks playing WoW on retail and various private servers, never lying about my gender ( yet not flaunting it either) I have heard nasty comments exactly twice. Both were just harmless kids who apologized after I put them in their place. It might be because I've had great guilds and in random encounters people just assume I'm male, but WoW has always been quite nice place for female players in my experience.

Edit: I forgot about one incident a few years back which was quite serious harrassment and had something to do with my gender. A guildie harassesed me in-game an elsewhere online for months before lashing out in guild chat while I was offline and getting promptly kicked. Surprising part? The harrasser was a 14 year old girl who thought I was trying to "steal her man" (= a 30 year old junkie and a drunk of a guildie) because I told him she was 14. He was embarrassed and thankful because he could have had some really serious trouble from some of the stuff he said when drunk. Needless to say I was much more amused than bothered by her raging

well generally what i said is true, hearing it from other females who play games xD the moment some guys hear a player is female they will try to suck up alot. Noticed the kind that often have anime pictures as signatures do this more than others. Idk maybe this server is an exception then, when i still played retail that place also was a saucagefest for women. might be different per server then

Yea well, for most of my WoW life I was in a retail guild where we had several female officers and at highest 7 female raiders in a 10 man group. Only once have I been the only active female raider in a guild, but that was a small 18+ guild so people really didn't care. I guess that has sheltered me from most of the crap
