Crestfall = full with lies and manipulation and racism.

1- they lied about opening beta at the end of summer and they lied about nostalrius GM working for them.
2- they tend to find a way and make people fund the server even it is not yet released.
3- they tend to make it pay to win abusing tricky words "might change if we feel like" bit far from their nonono words.
4- i assume it will be new corecraft.
5- non blizzlike and completely modified server.
6- disaster for Paladins.
7- no Evidence for their work , jut words over action.
8- only bragging and flexing calling other servers lazy to proper script server including bashing nostalrius.
9- Anti China 100%.

1. They didn't lie. Their estimation was just off. This happens extremely often in software development; something I'm familiar with, because, ya know, I'm a developer, myself.

2. Funding of the server shouldn't be a primary concern until the server is actually released. Only then after several months will we know, as users/players, what the impact will be on the community. Considering all the work they're putting into this server, I doubt they would announce anything that would cause the community to go into an uproar and leave the server in armies.

3. They aren't going to make it pay to win. If they did, everyone would leave.

4. Assuming leads to what, exactly?

5. It's as blizzlike as we're ever going to see in the private scene. Nothing will ever be perfectly blizzlike.

6. All Resist having Holy Resist is not a disaster for Paladins. How often do you see people running around with All Resist gear/trinks/etc. ? Also, Healing Holy Paladins in raids won't even care about this.

7. They regularly post links to short videos showing examples of things working on their server. Read the weekly updates, which I know you are since every time one is posted, you quote things here and then claim they're lying/incorrect about something.

8. They are right, though. They did their research and they realized that the way other privates were doing it wasn't 100% correct. They aren't boasting... they're just pointing out the facts and making sure things work as intended.

9. They aren't anti-China. If they're anti-china, then Blizzard is anti-everything, because they separate everyone. Euros can't play with Americans, Chinese can't play with Euros or Americans, etc. Also, Crestfall's willingness to open a Chinese-only server if there is enough interest pretty much shuts down the anti-China assumption.

Basically there is barely any choice left but to hype Crestfall since it's the most real thing that seems to be happening.

Elysium's population is steadily dropping, Sunday's online peak did not even break 700. Yes, they are doing a great job on fixing the bugs and dealing with the issues, but that's just not enough and the most important things do not get priority fixes.
The buggy pathing at release scared off a huge amount of potential players and it took them 2 months to deal with it. Imo, delaying the initial launch to fix this critical issue would have been a better decision. Recent HDD failure reduced peak population by solid 30%.
Nevertheless, the most important issue is simply the lack of players. I've had a huge argument about the loot system in my guild and wanted to quit but... the thing is that it's the only guild on the server which raids during the times I am able to attend raids. On nost there were dozens of them raiding on this very time.

Crestfall is a new opportunity and a very solid chance to start all over with a better outcome.

Duki, I understand you take the word Slav seriously and maybe one day it will be generally considered to be a racist term, like the originally neutral term "negro" is now considered to be racist. Currently, it is not one, at least not outside of certain small circles. You are not going to make any headway pushing that point and repeating it ad nauseam is equally pointless. Please drop it.

This thread is for discussing Crestfall server, not whether some poster on their forum or discord was being an asshat. There will always be trolls and idiots in public chats and unless a host adopts pre-censorship of all posts, it is impossible to avoid. The best we can do is cleanup afterwards. It isn't a valid point to attack a server with unless the actual admins & staff engage in it or is clearly rampant and allowed by the staff.

And to other posters, personal attacks against Duki are not useful either. Please argue his points, as Bearier above did.
