You know the more dedicated/defensives/obsessed/fanatic fans of Nost will come in and call you a casual who should go back to retail for pointing out that the server has several non-Blizzlike things going on. The population being chiefest among them. Herbalism and Mining are nearly impossible to skill up in a reasonable time frame because of how much competition there is among nodes, most quest mobs get camped (though dynamic spawning fixes this somewhat) and there are so many people on, that draw distances had to be cut so the hardware wouldn't choke on the numbers and it's only going to get worse. Private servers were not meant to handle this kind of load and it really shows.

Yet for having over 9k players, there's still like, zero fucking tanks available for instances and people sit there waiting for a tank and healer.

Yeah my bad, forgot about this one. Every time I personally go to IF and see that one guy with a kodo just totally puts me off. I immediately log in to my char on Nost to enjoy the blizzlike population, blizzlike lag with my 23ms and blizzlike draw distance.

I also forgot to mention the character auction. Oops. I still remember that day I saw a lvl 40 tauren levelling in Feralas. Turned out he'd just gotten this char from the auction. Upon hearing that the character is no longer controlled by the same person who levelled it to 40, I nearly stopped playing there and then. I despise p2w servers.

On a serious note though, I don't like the mount issue either. Luckily I've only seen that one guy with a funny mount, and never one whilst outside IF (actually playing the game). I can deal with it though, as neither of those 2 things I just mentioned actually affects my gameplay.
