Kronos had to shutdown their open beta after few hours.

Discuss anything here. But do not forget that our rules still apply !

It is. BEST DISNEY MOVIE EVER.

No seriously. That movie got me into DnD. Horned King was fucking metal as hell... and the books are even better.

Pretty much. It was a financial bomb that many went to expecting the typical Disney light and fluffiness therein garnering some bad press... Yet many reviewers and Lloyd Anderson (wrote the books it was based on) loved it.

There's so much that was deleted because the test audience couldn't handle it. Horned King's death being the most infamous one.

TRIVIA
Don Bluth (Sleeping Beauty, Titan AE, Secret of Nihm, Dragon's Lair, Space Ace, American Tail, Land Before Time, Disney's Robin Hood) was the animation director until he quit due to stress and overall dickery by Disney. Watch any of his work and then Black Cauldron and you can see the similarities in style.

So I just read this on the Kronos forum from a dev member:
just so that you don't keep checking all night or whatever time it is for you right now,
The server will not get back online within the next 12h at the very least, maybe not even for the entire Saturday and maybe even longer!

as stated a couple of times on various platforms, we will make sure to inform you when we will re-open the beta test again. So you don't need to recheck every couple of minutes or every hour.

we will inform you when the issues we encountered today have been fixed and then we'll tell when the server goes back up.

I wish them good luck, but must be some serious server issues to be down for such a period of time.

Seems like they have a lot of crashdumps to analyze.
It's good to see that they take their feedback seriously and invest good time before re-launching it again.

Regardless of the hiccups of the initial Open Beta launch, one giant positive was the huge initial population. I haven't experienced that kind of hype/rush since TBC and Cata releases. 'twas fun while it was stable.

Yes, I've seen quite a lot of hackers on Kronos beta yesterday...so bad.
