What makes Kronos a "fun server"?

I think that you can make a party with 300 fellows and say that all the server has come to your party!

You know what else would eliminate the lag issues? Opening another PVP server.

Dude, stop that shit. Seriously. You are getting mad about it: Open a new PvP server. Open a PvP Server. Man, chill out. Devs know better than you which points are needed to improve the server, and are not that points are not related with the population.

There are actually plenty of private servers out there. Many have options and features that players on Nos request, you guys should go check them out . The higher experience, gold and reputation rates are indeed not very vanilla but I see many people here complaining about the slow and difficult levelling on a 1x vanilla server like Nos. Go visit Kronos guys, you might like it better. (sneakly trying to reduce the lag the high population is causing :p)

One thing I do not understand. Kronos as well as Nostalrius has their own flaws. But the biggest concern for both is the population issue - one lacks people, while the other is overcrowded.

Why would anyone discourage a middle ground, which both servers would thrive from? The only apparent reason that comes into my mind is, that one would simply want the other server die, because of a traumatizing event from the past. When your gf breaks up with you, the mature thing would be to accept it and move on, not to stalk her everyday, talk unnecessary trash everywhere you go and try to ruin her life. I have seen multiple people on reddit lately discouraging people from Kronos in a way, that seemed that it was way beyond trolling. It was plain hatred, lies and delusions.

Sad part is, there might be people, who believe such individuals.

I didn't read other comments but this is my vision after playing on both servers.

Kronos is a lag-free because it has lower population. But 2 days ago, when it reached ~1800 ppl online, it started to have its first lag-spikes. If kronos population gets bigger, it will be a lagfest. Unlike nostalrius, kronos haven't heavily modified their mangos core to reduce the latency of the server. It would take weeks, maybe even months to find & fix enough solutions from the mangos zero.

so they talk about there perfect scripting and ill go to there forums and what did I see. 1 thread about Nefarian construct mobs on phase 3 teleporting to healers thats been going on since they released BWL like 4 months ago.

another thread about lots of mobs around the world who are frozen. they don't move, can't attack, or there pathing makes them get stuck on trees and rocks.

and another thread about how bugged hunter pets are and how raptor pets buffed do more DPS than mages or warlocks.

I wish i could find a for fun server with instant 60+easy gear, just to try pvping on all classes, that would be great to learn vanilla pvping.

I start playing a bit on kronos, getting super fast to 60 on a server that actual have bgs,raids,wpvp,etc and no lag is really nice, pluz i love that they change the gold respec cap to 5g and that we can see players health there, and i cant find any game breaking bug there so far.

While Nos is overpopulated, you have to have a future vision of what will happen when they launch TBC. I would like to see a very healthy population for both realms at that time. You need a very strong foundational base if your pop will be cut in half (or whatever it is) when you start supporting TBC.

should have seen the unscripted lunar festival event. when you use a rocket cluster, it spawns a rocket and explodes. killing you for 10k fire damage
