TBC. As a priest, things got really interesting when I MC-tanked Instructor Razuvious in Naxx. I really enjoyed having a different utility than the usual MT-healing in a fight, but the guild never got very far in Naxxramas before TBC was out. I felt as though TBC continued the progress they'd made in raids towards the end of Vanilla. Let's face it, Molten Core is a snorefest, mechanics-wise, and so is most of BWL. ZG, AQ and Naxx were more interesting and varied, and TBC built on that.
My favourite time in-game was Black Temple, where I'd switch between healing my ass off during Bloodboil and speccing shadow and doing competitive DPS on other bosses. TBC is also the only world where I've killed the final boss (Kil'Jaeden) before the release of an expansion. For me, TBC had the right amount of stuff to do. There were some rep grinding, some daily quests for epic flying, a good amount of content released, and for me it ended at just the right time - I'd done everything but wasn't bored yet.
WOTLK was great up until ToC. Best looking continent, Ulduar was awesome, the HC dungeons were actually hard when you first started them, Wintergrasp was my fave BG. But after ToC I completely lost interest. Haven't raided since. The normal/hc/25/10 shit was not for me.
