First off, I'm not clueless. I hit 60 and raided on rebirth. It wasn't just freakyuno's run-a-way with donation money that soured the community back then. Its that no matter how much we brought it up the entire group of admins running that server continued to lie to its playerbase. Hell we had a gm friend that opened up to us and told us what happened.

Muggle and everyone of them tried to play silent and let the whole thing wait out hoping the server would start back up. If you want me to pull up and post my screenshots from reddit pages and facebook posts from over a year ago I will. The only reason I ever got any answers was because I kept making posts asking for official response that got traction from the community and even when they finally did. Not a single apology to the community.

Our entire guild wouldn't have even left rebirth if the admins treated us with a modicum of respect and spoke to us as human beings, instead they lied to us for over a month and didn't have the stones to own up to their mistakes.

Butthurt, Rebirth still offers the best scripts. If they ever ask for donations just don't, but enjoy the server.

no PTR
no bug tracker
loitered with exploits
corrupt GMs/staff
allows botting/multiboxing/exploiting with no bans. the guild Dwarven Overlords there raided MC with someone multiboxxing 6 characters with a bot program to do actions for them.
2 cease and desist orders from blizzard, over 6 months of downtime + data wipes/lost.
allows players to intentionally crash the server, ruining raids from other guilds to happen.
toxic community
bad players
non blizzlike war effort/exp rates
cannot charge without going under the world/crashing the server.
6 year old mangos core missing updates from the current github public domain one.
no character restoration
back up data once a week before being shutdown twice.

shall I go on?

Maybe you should imba, might serve as a warning to help these players that are looking for a new home.

Or maybe you should just enjoy whatever's free and available instead of whining like you didn't get your favourite train for christmas. If you want to come up with stuff that happen a year ago and claim that this is still current, be my guest, have fun on Kronos, I'm sure everything's waaaay better there.

Triumphnl you are taking this far too personally. I am not making an attack on you. They handled that server incredible unprofessionally and treated their userbase horribly. There were some GM'S that even had their friends run instances and then spawned the loot they wanted for them after downing the boss. I understand you are very passionate about the server but the only reason you have people like me commenting on it is to give people perspective. If the rebirth was a wonderful server you'd get no argument from me.

Most people dont change much in a year, whether it be their views or how they interact with other individuals. The administrative team there is still very much the same.

Also the way you are fervently defending it makes it seem as if you have some personal stake in the rebirth :/

Not at all, just playing there for the last 3 days and read up about it a lot, talked to a lot of players that HAVE been there for the whole run instead of the people that went up and left as soon as shit happened. Don't talk about it like you know everything about the server because, well you don't. Unless you can confirm you personally know Muggle and what she's up to right now it's all hearsay for me.

Al the people playing right now do not confirm any of the claims you are making, nor does it have to do with what the server is up to right now. For me this is absolutely not personal, I don't understand where you got that from, All I try to do is getting people there who want to try out a nice server without any hype.
