i've been thinking about this for years, lets say you're an ambulance and you're on your way to an emergency, you go down this narrow road and at a 2 way junction which also has narrow roads there is a police car on one side and an ambulance on the other, all of which are on their way to seperate emergencies, who takes priority? what would the arguments be like?

The policeman reverse parallel parks his car in the nearest available spot ensuring to be atleast 8 feet from the nearest fire hydrant in the likely event that the old lady in apartment C23 farts near a flame and burns down the apartment and the fire department gets dispatched.

Then the ambulance passes.

Ofcourse ambulance top priority , you can easily get the answer in drivers rules

is that always true? what about if people need rescuing from a fire or theres a gunman in the streets

If an ambulance is going with high speed and alarms etc it gets prio since else someone could die.

Of course the ambulance takes priority. You have no idea of knowing if someone is minutes away from death right then and there and the ambulance takes presedence.

And what about two ambulances?

The one that goes WEO WEO WEO harder.
