Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I just wanted to share my thoughts regarding what i think would be the perfect wow for me.
I hope everyone will share there ideas and just comment what they feel be good or bad.

The perfect expension PVE wise for me was TBC, but the problem I had with TBC were Dranei and the whole space theme and their story. I loved vanilla wow story, characters and theme.

Personally i would love to play in the vanilla wow world, but include heroic dungeon, gear progression and raid mechanics from tbc. Some of the best things about tbc were reputation giving excellent rewards, combined with proffesions and heroic drops, if you did not raid you could deck out your character in full epic, with decent amount of effort.

Futher I would like some quality improvements to the vanillia world I am creating her, I would like 300% ground mount instead of flying, more flightpath, AH in all citys, connected flightpaths to all main citys from lvl 1 and add a couple of GYs.

For me this sounds like a perfect world.
A important factor would be class balance and including the tbc talents so that retri,tankadin,ench,balance druid, feral and so on would get their raidspots.

As for pvp i loved the ranking system in vanilla but i also loved arena and tbc system.
I propose that you have gear you can buy with honor earned like in tbc but you have to be atleast
rank 3 for s1, rank 4 for s2, rank 5 s6 and so on.

Where the rank you get awards vanity items and maybe a BG where the highest ranked player control
some sort of NPCs, almost like rts, or something to award those Marshals/Warlords.

Personally I would not include the JP system, but feel to argument for including this.

To sum it up I would like tbc playstyle, mechanics but vanilla world and questing, without flying mounts.

The phasing technology that current wow has today and awesome cutscenes would also be welcome!

As for adding expansions I would not make us go to Outland or another place, I would rather make something attack the existing world and make the threat come to us.

I have never played the pet battle system in current wow, but I think that could have been added to my version of wow, because I see no downside.

So in other words....:

The main reasons people want to come back to vanilla wow....you want to make the original game just as easy as blizzard made each expansion...

No no, I want the solo content to be as hard as vanilla but end game to be harder than vanilla more like TBC.
Only reason i wanted tbc talents were to make every specc useful.

Was the first part of tbc easier than vanilla wow?
I actually loved doing ssc/tk/mh/bt because it was a challenge, but never did naxx in vanilla so.

This sounds awful. One of the main reasons I like playing Vanilla WoW is how wide open and big the world feels. I feel like a large part of this is having so few flight paths, various trainers/vendors being scattered so far apart, and to some extent the scarcity of quests.

My perfect wow would probably be Vanilla with better PvP ballance, a few of the later talents added in (shadow step, disengage, earth shield), and then Karazhan and BT added at the end for their atmosphere.

Yeah I see your point, my main issue with current vanilla tho is no heroics and prot pallas, feral druids being useless xD
