Anyone remember when level ranges began being visible?

As someone that started playing during Burning Crusade, i can see that the level range of a zone is not marked on the world map. Anyone remember when this change happened?

I don't know the answer to your question but the addon Cartographer adds that functionality.

It definitely came no later than BC. What i'm wondering is when exactly is came.

I also think it was Cata and I started in BC. My memory is pretty average, though and that was a long time ago.

since such things are client based, it DID NOT came with the TBC client (2.0 till 2.4.3). most likely you used an addon during that time that showed such things (such addons did exist)

What about showing whether a territory was horde or alliance?
