Just read the new 6.2.2 patch notes and I got to say AYY LMAO
PvP Mercenary Mode
Players are now able to act as a mercenary for the opposite faction in PvP whenever your faction is experiencing a long wait time to get into Ashran or unrated Battlegrounds. Agents of the enemy faction will appear at your base in Ashran (Stormshield for the Alliance, Warspear for the Horde) and allow you to enter Ashran or Battlegrounds disguised as an enemy player, and actually fight as the opposite faction.
mah heart mah soul mah honor - better I join enemy team for fast honor gg

The sense of faction war in retail has been diluted long time ago (started off with the ability to create characters of both factions on the same server if you ask me). I also think most people have been over this by now, and are indifferent to this sort of changes anymore.

On this server you can create characters from both factions on a single account.

Yes but this server is unique, meaning you can't join another server to play the opposite faction. It's one of those "blizzlike" things that just cannot happen.

I could see that as being useful for a lot of private servers, but I seriously doubt Nost is going to implement it (at least on the PvP server).
Personally speaking I hate waiting in queues for battlegrounds, so I'd be all for it if Nost DID decide to implement this change, but as PvP isn't a big part of my gametime, I'm also fine leaving it out. And as I said, I seriously doubt that the Nost team would implement it.

It's not in the client engine. You'll never see something like this implemented in the WoW vanilla client engine on any server.

I imagine this is not something you could easily produce on a vanilla client, not sure why anyone would really even want this?

Does it surprise anybody what Blizzard does with WoW these days?
