Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Do you have hype for Wow Legion?

You know it's clear they are not going to make the game hardcore or any similar to vanilla, but anyway i have some hype to see what are they going to do, classes are going to change way several, new maps/zones, new pvp model (look like something vanilla), new class...

The most awful i think i've seen lately in wow retail is that some servers are dead (including me) and blizzard forces us to pay money just to migrate to another realm for doing pve. (you can't do mythic if you are not in the same realm)...

So what do u guys think

Ok, have to admit. I watched their announcement at Gamescom but just cause I'm a Blizzard fanboy. I'll buy Legacy of the Void but I'll never play retail again unless they offer vanilla or bc realms

There are things I enjoy about the current game, and I am still playing from time to time. Currently, however, my account is not active. I was not playing it as often as I used to and I decided to deactivate it in order to save money. Now I have chosen to spend my time playing Nostalrius, and it has been a wonderful experience. The old game offers so much, most of which has since been removed today.

I plan to try out Legion once it is released, as I am curious how they will handle it. The demon hunters are intriguing, as are the artifact weapons. I am also interested to explore the Broken Isles and see if Blizzard has improved since Warlords of Draenor. I am certain it will be a better experience, but whether or not it will be a truly great expansion remains to be seen. I will likely play it for a little while, but I may end up deactivating my account again after that for the same reason as stated above. Since I am not playing the game as often anymore, I may as well take a break from it rather than continuing to spend money on it.

Nope. I don't like retail and Legion does not impress me... yay a new elf only class that can double jump... yeah piss off with that Blizz. I enjoy Vanilla immensely, so no I won't even try Legion.

To be honest I thought this hype thread was for the pve server. I don't care about retail one bit.

Yeah , vanilla is awesome, but you are forgetting the most important fact.

It's 10 years old, we have already played it back in time, everything has been discovered , we are stucked in time...

Im having fun too in Nostalrius, even tho the crashes and shit, but i think my hype is going away... so why i asked.

Whatever you say, haven't been excited about wow since I killed Arthas with my guild back in the day, which was still nothing compared to the excitement of vanilla days.

WoD is the first time I've boycotted an entire expansion, and I've played since classic. I don't see any reason to believe that Legion will be any better. Artifact weapons seem like a lame and cheap way to cut cost in the long term, definitely not a fan. Since WoD, they've moved to a Diablo-esque loot system, and are looking to expand upon it in Legion. The game is bleeding, hell, gushing, subscribers. Given the first and second quarter subscriber numbers, they don't know what to do to fix it, and, if you ask them it's normal. One thing's for sure, they are going to milk the game, and by extension, the players for everything they're worth, before it's over. Well, except me, no, they're not getting my money, god no.
