Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Just saw a video about a addon and program that made it possible with retail wow, and was curious if it's possible on Nostalrius?

Pretty sure I read a topic about someone using it way back when the server came and since I'm leveling a new alt it would be fun to try it out, make the game feel a bit new and get something new to learn.
And is it hard to setup?

To get something clean and nice to use, we would need to downport

I don't know if you could find motivated enough programmers to do this work.

I actually tried using this on Nostalrius but it didn't work. The WoWmapper software detected my game and also the ConsolePort addon but the addon was "out of date" and also had error on login. The only buttons that worked with my DS4 was movement (left thumb), left click (L3), mouse (right thumb), right click (R3), and Open Bag (square).

I would certainly put this to use if anybody ported it to work with Nostalrius.

I don't know if this will gain any traction in Off Topic, perhaps someone could make a REQUEST thread in the Addons section or something.
