Absolutely, not sure how well the articles written on this have been manipulated but there was statements that she was indeed pretty aware of what she was doing, admittedly even saying she was 17yo. Parts of the internet has been going wild over this.

yeah i did read the text messages. Even if she was 17, if you are famous and you pressure someone to face time you over and over, surely you must realise they might tell. I bet she sent the texts to that magazine to further her music career.

Me not being an american I have no bigger grasp of how the age is restricted for underage/minors, other than some states being 18/19 and 21 for alcohol. Isn't there something that would legally sanction this guy? The "legal age" here in Sweden is saddening 15 years and anyone fiddling or attempting shit on anyone younger would get a pretty harsh slap for doing so.
