A political thread on a wow forum. I don't have a clue about American politics right now but i do know that Trump is an arrogant egotistical bastard. The fact of the matter is this is not a NA forum and to be quite honest i don't see how this bait thread should really be allowed to stay unlocked. Does it break forum code of conduct? Probably not but i don't see this being a productive conversation. You clearly have an agenda. He wants to close the borders to Muslims only. It's a bad idea because a huge chunk of people(if not the majority) that are fighting/dying against ISIS are Muslim. So when you tell the majority of people who are helping win the fight against ISIS that it's ok for you to fight with us but don't try to come to our country, it looks like you don't care what they are doing for the rest of the world.

It also makes it a lot easier for ISIS to recruit Muslims around the world when all they have to say is Look, America won't even let Muslims into their country. You think they care about you? The point is to defeat ISIS, not to make it easier for them to grow.

Also, NATOs second largest army(Turkey) is primarily muslims, they're suppose to be our allies.

Well America has a vetting process for letting in refugees from a wartorn country which takes about 18-24 month if I remember correctly. So if your asking if I trust that process I would say yes. Should we just open up the borders to anyone and everyone? Of course not.

As for the temporary thing, I don't think that makes it any better. He was on record saying even American Muslims that came here legally wouldn't be able to return if they left. Those people are american citizens, now your just taking peoples rights away? come on.

NATO is fuckin useless tbh. Wish we'd pull out of it so we could laugh at all the socialist countries in europe scramble trying to balance no longer having bIG dADDY Usa fronting for them in conflicts with all the money they pour into dem programz. Maybe then all those new graduates academia is churning out with chicano studies degrees wouldn't cum all over themselves over norway's (or whatever) "$25" min wage.

And these refugees have zero documentation. There is nothing to vet them on. That's why you see shit flying off the handle in Germany and other european areas where, surprise surprise, some immigrants just aren't gelling with the locals. You wouldn't have faith in our process if you had worked any government job--nepotism and apathy is absolutely rampant.

And on american citizens returning from the middle east. That's typically where they get radicalized and then...well. You know what happened in San Bernadino, CA a month or so ago right?

USA shouldn't have instigated the whole anti-establishment in the middle east to begin with, even though some of the middle eastern countries had oppressive systems, let the people start the revolution and THEN move in to help.
It's a whole lot easier to radicalize uninformed youth and push your devious agenda when you got bombs falling on your head and somewhere to point your fingers.
Easy for me to be captain hindsight now, but point is USA got a big part of the responsibility for that mess, and pulling out now would be extremely bad for your international relations.

The money saved from the war wouldn't have make any difference for the minimum wage in America, it would have went straight back into the pockets of the top 1% again.

The difference between poor and rich in America is absurd, I'm not saying you should be Scandinavia 2.0, but a move in that direction would definitely help people not get cucked by the system while the rich get richer.
Anyone who thinks Donald Trump gives two fucks about the average americans best interests while Bernie Sanders wants to turn America into a communist country are fucking deluded.
The whole anti-immigrant thing isn't even the main focus, it's just an easy way to gain votes from the weak and scared who is afraid of anything that doesn't look or act exactly like themselves, just take a look at the most recent European elections, that strategy has worked wonders. Apathy and anxiety is slowly taking over the western world.
