Just thought I would try and bring in some love for other RPGs here aswell. Feel free to list some other fantasy RPGs that you're currently playing or have played in the past (maybe even tell us why we should play them).

Tales of Maj'Eyal: Open source roguelike good for thousands of hours of play. It's free as in free beer if you get it from their site but you can also buy it on steam and get the "donator's edition" with some cosmetic stuff and a fancy green name when talking in chat. The best class/race combo is Highborn Alchemist because you can be one of the "chosen people" who fights by throwing gems and summoning golems.

Pool of Radiance
Curse of the Azure Bonds
Secrets of the Silver Blade <-- really grindy, only play to complete the quadrilogy
Pools of Darkness
Gateway to the Savage Frontier
Treasures of the Savage Frontier
Dark Sun: Shattered Lands
Dark Sun: Wake of the Ravager <--- really buggy, make multiple saves and prepare to still get fucked
Ultima 4
Ultima 5
Ultima 6
Ultima 7
Worlds of Ultima: Martian Dreams
Menzoberranzan <--- shit, avoid
Eye of the Beholder
Lands of Lore <-- RPG-lite but it was so damn pretty back in the day
Betrayal at Krondor
Fallout
Baldur's Gate
Fallout 2
Planescape: Torment
Baldur's Gate 2 + Throne of Bhaal
Icewind Dale + Heart of Winter
Icewind Dale 2
Lionheart <-- shit, avoid
Arcanum
Vampire the Masquerade: Redemption <-- really grindy, only play if you're starved of vampire action
Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines
Ultima Online <--- "vanilla" private servers available
Shadowrun (SNES)
Final Fantasy 2/4
Final Fantasy 3/6
Chrono Trigger
Final Fantasy 5
Secret of Mana
Final Fantasy 7, 8, 9, 10 <-- all shit, only play if you're a massive weeaboo
Knights of the Old Republic
Knights of the Old Republic 2 <--- get the restored/cut content mod/patch thing
Neverwinter Nights + Shadows of Undrentide + Hordes of Underdark <-- skip the original campaign and just play the expansion campaigns for their stories, combat is awful
Neverwinter Nights 2 + Mask of the Betrayer + Storms of Zehir <-- skip the original campaign and just play the expansion campaigns for their stories, combat is slightly better
Mass Effect 1, 2, 3 <--- if you want to be a MOVIE STAR ACTION HERO, otherwise might as well skip
Dragon Age: Origins
Age of Decadence
Underrail
Pillars of Eternity
TES: Morrowind
TES: Oblivion <--- play Morrowind for a good RPG, or Skyrim for a good hiking simulator, skip Oblivion
TES: Skyrim <-- use Requiem
Shadowrun: Returns
Shadowrun: Dragonfall <-- get the Director's Cut version
Shadowrun: Hong Kong
+ shit ton of indie RPGs, most of which I can't really remember the names of and roguelikes.

OH snap Puttu is really into this nice!
Well here's my 3 cents:
Diablo 3 - on new seasons.
The Witcher 3 - sometimes.
RimWorld - Love this game, waiting on new patch.
A sci fi colony sim driven by an intelligent AI storyteller. with some cool mods can make it RPG-ish

I'd be playing the living crap out of DS if it didn't need a controller to play (I hear that playing it with KB+M is suicide). It looks like it'd fit right in with the other RPGs in my library. And even if it doesn't I REALLY like the look of it.

you can play it with keyboard and mouse but it will take some time getting controls you are comfortable with.
