The weather engine in-game doesn't update in real time.
And the amount of rain you see, this is also a pretty common theme on a mangos privates. Seems to just be raining all the god damn time. I'm no expert on the issue, I just know that it's like this on almost all other privates from experience of playing on them.

But f.ex., say you've been playing in STV or Arathi Highlands, or wherever really, for a period of 4-5+ hours, and then get dc'd or relog, especially around 4-7 AM server time, you will see a DRASTIC change in scenery, as the usual 24/7 rain will most likely be gone and instead you will see a beautiful sunrise.

The problem seems to be that the weather on Nostalrius isn't updating in real-time in-game at all. At least, it doesn't update until you relog or close the game and open again.
I confirmed this several times with many other people that I have partied with, I told them all to relog to check it out and they all experienced the exact same thing as me.

Would like a fix to this, as it's pretty "immersion breaking", as douchy as I sound saying that. But the real-time weather is one of the coolest aspects of WoW. Especially the sunrise, it's beautiful on the beaches and high in the mountains. Currently it's impossible to witness it in real-time right now as Nostalrius weather doesn't really update properly unless you relog, so you're cursed to have to deal with the private server raining 24/7.

At least, that's how me and many other people experience the weather on Nostalrius currently.
If there are any GMs or devs reading this, I would love to hear if this is correct or not, or if it's some other related issue. If it's client side then please tell me how to fix it, because I'd really love to have proper real-time weather. The constant rain gets pretty depressing and boring over time.
