Best way to make gold?

Hi there, I've been playing for about a week or so and am wondering whats the best way to make gold, I ask this because 40 is getting closer and im anxious about getting a mount, but with spells costing so much to train im really struggling to maintain my gold, so have you guys got any tips? On my priest I'm Tailoring which is at 140 and leatherworking which is at 20 (only recently got it since tailoring requires some leather sometimes.) any tips to make money?

Griding for money at that lvl isnt really worth spending time on. You will get enough gold from simply doing quests and selling grays/greens/blues you get. I myself got enough gold for mount at around lvl 45-48 as a warrior.

I'm using skinning and mining while leveling just to sell the mats. I have been told engineering is the most profitable, but I'm not sure myself. I like skinning/mining because it is easy, all I have to do is gather stuff and sell it on the AH on my trip back to the city when learning new spells. I have 3 gold at level 16 so I think I should be good by the time I hit 40.

You need to grind for around 6 straight levels or play the auction house if you want a mount at 40. On my priest I just grinded the elementals in the valley in swamp of sorrows

Roll a qt female NE, stand next to the mailbox by the bank, remove all items of clothing and /dance.
