is it posible to contact GMs in order to free inactive names

I wanted to start rolling few characters, but almost all the names I like are taken, I checked and most of them are inactive almost since server start, is it possible to send a ticket to GMs so they check if they can free the names? I know it's not a problem on retail, did someone do it here?

You can't. GM's will not free up names - no matter if they are inactive or on banned accounts.

It was also a problem on retail in Vanilla btw.
