New to Vanilla WoW, help?

Hello! I have been playing WoW since early Wrath of the Lich King and I am still playing it...

Recently I have been watching videos about WoW classic and it is told that there is alot more player interaction and that progress is hard to achieve. That sounded pretty good to me, because I think it also feels better if you achieve something when it's hard to get, so I searched for a Vanilla Server. Now I am lost, I don't know how classes were back then in Classic, I have had a shaman and a warlock as a main so I would consider rolling these classes but... can anyone describe how they feel to play in classic? Or should I reroll a completely other class?

Hey I suggest googling class guides, the ones from the feenix server serve very well. also find a good leveling guild with some 60s in it, they help alot. It is all trial and error here though. I got a shaman to level 41 and decided I didn't like it. That was like 8 days total before deciding It wasn't worth it. Everything in vanilla is much different from retail so just play around and you will eventually find your niche.

locks had to micromanage soul shards for example (farm them) but had class quests, didn't play much shaman in vanilla sry
