New(ish) Player. Hello!

Hullo, everyone! Call me Raine. Based in NA, US, Texas (HOWDY Y'ALL) and I promise I don't own a gun. No, really.

I've played WoW...since about this patch, actually! Somewhere around 1.11 I joined Blizzard's community, originally. It's been awhile, and a painful road watching them change and change around. Not to say the current game isn't entertaining, it's just...not the same, y'know?

So here I find myself, the original, what initially drew me in now available, and I am boundlessly thrilled to be here. Shout out of thanks to everyone keep this thing up, together and running. You're letting sad people like me re-live their teenagehood. : )

That said, I have a few questions I was hoping some could help me answer while I wait for the workday to end.

1. Battleground wait times? Is this much of an issue at all, or can I hop into AV without waiting a 60 minute queue?

2. We all know there's plenty of raiding guilds, and come 60 man I do intend harassing everyone to let a lonely resto druid into your ranks. How about leveling/hang-out guilds? That's one thing I sorely miss from my Vanilla days: being able to hop online and chat whilst level grinding.

3. Peak server times? I know there's an impressive international community here, so I'm a little curious.

Again, I can't say how glad I am to be here. I should be up and running by tonight, so I hope to see some of you online!

Welcome! I'm afraid I cannot answer your questions, as I haven't participated in a battleground yet, joined a guild, or been online lately to know when the peak times are. I am currently waiting for the release of the PvE server before I continue playing. However, I would like to welcome you to Nostalrius. I, too, appreciate the opportunity to be here. I have always loved World of Warcraft, and even though I occasionally go back to the current game, I enjoy classic so much more. The world is challenging, exploration exciting, and quests meaningful. It is truly everything this game was always meant to be. I hope you have as much fun on here as I have these past months.
Best of journeys in Azeroth, and may nature bless you.
