Help a noob

by ikehype » Sun Nov 29, 2015 4:44 pm

Hello, I have some questions as a player who is going to start a warrior.

1) What addons are essential and great for leveling?
2) What professions should I take whilst leveling as warr?
3) How often should i be running dungeons in comparison to questing?
4) What is the food situation? (Heard warriors have it rough in leveling)
5) Do i get to use any of the raid tier gear until AQ40?
6) Any general tips for a player who only started in mop?

I know these may be stupid and or annoying questions but I need to know because I'm lazy.

Thanks

This game is 10 years old, and basically everything there is to know has been answered and discussed at depth, you just need to be able to find it. Google is your friend.

For searching the Nostalrius forums, add "site:forums.nostalrius.org" to the end of your Google search query, ex: "warrior leveling guide site:nostalrius.org"

As the poster said above, google is your best friend. All the questions you asked could be solved searching google or these forums, and will take less time than posting here and waiting for a response.

1)For info on addons head over to the addon section of the forums, which has threads and stickies that cover essential and useful addons.

2) go to the warrior section on these forums and read through there. Or google vanilla warrior professions

3) In vanilla questing is the best and fastest way to level. Instances are worth it if you have quests, so do each instance at least once and get all the quests before doing it. However after that unless you need gear I would recommend mostly questing.

6) MoP is WAY different than vanilla. Basically dont expect the same game. Its a lot slower in the beginning, but once you get accustmed to your class and get higher level it smoothens out. Be patient, you will die a lot and simple quest mobs can kill you if you pull too many. This game requires you to slow down a think about you are doing. Also, make friends and group. In my opinion questin and leveling with someone else is how vanilla should be played and the community makes the game. Dont play it like you would play mop.

Hope that helped a bit! If you need anything feel free to whisper me ingame at Valandar.

Hope i answered some questions.
