Debating on class with 130ms

by zdk » Sun Dec 13, 2015 10:23 pm

Hi everyone, I was wondering what your thoughts are between a mage and rogue with an average of 130ms. Which do you feel to be more ms dependent? I noticed that while playing my rogue that the ms is affecting my energy tick (energy watch gets off sync) which feels a little weird.

Just wondering on your thoughts as I hone down on which of the two I'd rather invest more time into.

Thanks.

Too high for WoW.

I suggest playing a different game or moving to France.

neither really.. I would say ranged caster has a slight advantage but the ms affects your casting just as bad as it affects the rogues movements and abilities.

pick warlock imo stack dots and run/juke for days

Not really, PvP is the only thing that would be affected by that much latency.
It wont matter for any of the PvE encounters in the game. I played with around 200 for a long time, the only PvE situations I've encountered where latency becomes an issue are the heroic/hard mode raids in later expansions.

So ultimately it is playable but obviously won't be as competitive as someone who lives in France lol. So I understand that part... I was just wondering out of mage or rogue which would most likely be effected the most?

Thank you for taking time to answer and discuss my post ^_^

130ms isnt a bad thing to be honest, it's not really that terrible.
you will be fine to be honest, people saying you wont is kind of stupid.
there isn't really a huge delay with 130 ms. NOW if you were playing with 300+ you'd have a problem.
