Starting out on horde

by Fraggie22 » Sat Feb 06, 2016 12:51 pm

Hello,

I am new on nostalrius and i will start lvling soon. I have chosen horde and pvp server, but couldnyou help me.with the rest. I am torn between mage/wlock/hunter. Whitch would be the best class in pvp server for lvling keeping in mind that i would play pve as lvl 60.

You should choose PvE realm for the best experience. PvP realm is way too overpopulated, which results in shortage of ores, herbs and sometimes even quest mobs during leveling.

I'd Warlock as they're more wanted than Hunters in the PvE scene but not nearly played as much as Mages. All 3 classes do fine while leveling though.

Thanks, will level wlock. Started lvling on wlock on pvp server and its soo over populated on starting area. Is it as bad later on or not that bad. How about pve server? How hard to find ppl to dungeons while lvling?

As I said, go to PvE. And yes, it can be worse later.

The population on the PvP server is to high... you will have to wait to complete quests because 10 other people will farm on the same quest. On the PvE server you will have a good level experience but maybe difficulties to find dungeon groups.
And you will have Server lags, too much people online and the NPC´s in OG will need time to be loaded.
But this problems will fix themselfs when more players move and start on PvE.

I do not like PvE because I love world PvP and I do not want to miss it :).

Thanks man, this was a nice reply. For now i go to play on pve and maybe sometimes i will lvl on pvp server. Tryed to lvl on pvp server but it was kinda insane with allmost 11k ppl online. Starting area was just a pain. Tryed out pve side and there was quite a lot ppl playing on low lvls aswell, soo it was not disapointing.

Youre welcome :) When you get into higher levels it will be difficult to find groups. But when you find good and active leveling guilds you should be fine.
