Lots of players prefer battlegrounds to any other pve aspects in this game, so you, and probably game administration, mean that we must wait for BWL patch to be released?
Why would you wait until they are released? You will be extremely behind if you start when Nostalrius Begins launches a TBC server which will be after all content is released on vanilla. If you start now, you can join in on the progression and get the best gear there is available on the content that is released.
I understand players prefer battlegrounds, but once AV comes out in the next 1-2 weeks, there are no more battlegrounds to open. All PvP players will now be able to play a pre-nerfed AV and enjoy AB+WSG while they're at it as these were released already.
As the raids that are released have already been fully cleared, BWL should be coming soon... with ZG to follow.
I think you should be playing only because everyone is on the same level here. If you wait until Nostalrius launches a TBC server, you have 2 problems. 1) All the players that transfer servers will no longer be playing 1.12.1 and 2) players who remain on the server will have everything on farm so PvP experience is ruined by premades with T2/Field Marshal set/T3.
