I just want to share an issue that i had days ago. I was playing and in the act the game disconnect me. When i was trying to join again, with my account and password tells me "authentification... complete... acces ok, then "you are disconnected from the server " i couldn join".

Solution: change Realmist to:

SET realmList "login.nostalrius.org"
SET realmName "Nostalrius Begins"

and works again

I can't changed the realmlist :/

Go to WoW Folder "World of Warcraft Classic" generally in C: /program file or program file(x86) , and there you have to see the file "Realmist". Right-click and open with.... Block Note, and you could change the text. then Save and end it.

Did step 7 manually to fix the realm where i accidentally entered but isn't working, seems like rewriting on realmlist.wtf isn't enough for the realm to change. Any other ideas for being able to play?

For the new users that have trouble with the Mega download: If you want, or are ok with having the enUS client, use this link

Unpack it wherever you want. If you want it totally fresh, delete the Interface, Logs, Errors, WDB, WTF and Screenshots folders. The game recreates these. All of them can be safely left there, but go into each one and make sure they are empty. Don't mess with the Data folder! There is no install required, make yourself a shortcut to wow.exe, update your realmlist.wtf as per the instructions all over this site and you're good to go!

The only difference i have noticed with this client (compared to the one from mega) is the in-game clock is in a 12 hour format instead of 24.

Need some help.

I changed the realm list to set realmlist login.nostalrius.org and when I logged in it assigned me to 'Test realm - IsVV2'

When i try and connect it authenticates, connects, and then immediately says disconnected from server. Can anyone help with this? What is the realm name supposed to be?

After typing password and hitting enter, quickly hit ESC while it is trying to connect and you'll be presented with the realm select screen. You'll want to choose "Nostalrius Begins"

Hey iruga9,

Log in and hit the Enter key quickly as soon as you see Success then change the Realm to Nostalrius Begins.

I changed the realm before i got in, and it didn't let me in, so i got disconnected, now i can't change the realm because i can't log in without being disconnected. I can't change the realmlist because it doesn't give me permission to edit it in notepad, and it says it is in read-only in Word. I don't know what to do about this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
