i've problem with this client on OSX El Capitan. Game will start and then i got a black screen and then same error like guys here.

i tried to follow this link but my iMac won't start to download this.. anyone?

i got the game running but there is a lot of stuff not loading including buildings, the torso and face of characters, quest markers. i can also see large trees in the background through the ground and the few buildings i am able to see. anyone have an idea of what i have to do? i deleted the WDB and WTF files before starting the game each time. its the same way at the character select page as well. thanks for the help

This should fix your problem:

One way to solve them would be to open up the 'config.wtf' file with notepad and add the following at the end:

SET M2UseShaders "0"
SET gxApi "opengl"

Hi guys,

I'm trying to get started on Nostalrius. I used the link provided in this thread for the download and everything seemingly went smoothly. The problem is that when I open Warcraft and go to log in, the game music stops playing as soon as I hit "enter" and a couple seconds later all it says is "Disconnected From Server".

I never actually get to a character page or anything of that nature, I'm only able to get the intro and the classic login screen.

Has this happened to anyone? Any recommendations on how to fix it? Any help is appreciated!
