Is anyone getting a connection error? Im switching my realmist client from Feenix to this client, I changed it in the realm list and it says connecting and straight to disconnected from the server. I also have allowed access to the wow program through my fire wall, I have deleted my WDB and have also removed all of my addons from the file, I am able to connect to other private servers, is anyone having the same issue?

Hi josh.

I'm having this issue also.. downloaded the client, made sure my realmlist is correct, deleted my WDB.
Says 'connecting' for about 20-30 seconds and then just 'disconnected'.

Any ideas?

I'm Away to EU in South America but I can get inside in any WoW Vanilla server - but no in this one at the moment.

Right now I'm using = set realmlist login.nostalrius.org

May be server too full ?

Mine doesn't work says "unable to connect"

Deleted WDB, changed realmlist info... tried 2 different clients doesn't work.

folder size is 5.01 GB

some extra usefull information maybe:

after installation don't lauch the wow client.
first edit the realmlist.wtf as described in the images above. this is to prevent any unwanted patching.

about multiple installations: if you have a super fast network you can put the installation folder on a network drive.
or even on a external harddrive.
it is not a needed installation, just having the folder and the wow.exe icon is enough to get it to work.

Hey, when i try to login it says "Unable to Connect" What should i do? I already changed the realmlist.

been having huge issues trying to log in. initially, i thought the problem was my install, which was a feenix install. to my understanding they tampered with their .exe and it screws with connecting to other realmlists, so i dumped it and used the download link provided here for my vanilla install. i still cant log in, after i enter all my info it does everything really quickly like its GOING to log in, and then it just says unable to connect. hlap pls

yes i am having the same problem. i deleted my feenix vanilla install and used nostalrius's link here for their download and it still doesnt let me log in.

I have made about 50 new accounts and tried them all multiple times, everytime i try to log in it says "disconnected from server" immediately. ONE time it said something else for a second and then said "disconnected from server". Any advice on logging in? All my friends are already playing together...

All im getting is this. Incorrect login details. Used to use Feenix. Changed realmlist & exe went into config & changed realmname


Do you have to click on a link in an email or something to activate the acc?

I switching from Feenix server from this one. Can i just remove the realmlist that is for Feenix server and just copy the reamlist for Nostalrius onto the realmlist folder?
