Vanilla Wiki?

Howdy,

Was wondering if there was a database out there with info relevant to this server's version of WoW. Obviously most wikis/database have up to the date info on retail WoW, but is there one out there with Vanilla info?

Kind of hoping people would share sites they have found and more so ones they felt were accurate enough for this server.

http://db.vanillagaming.org has been accurate in my experience.

^ It is not 100% accurate, the items there are post-patch (more stats and more %drop), but it can be a good guideline for almost everything

I'm still looking for any database with 100% correct info - atlas loot addon can be one but you cant "search" for item name

Thank you. That one obviously shows up if you do a google search like that other poster did, but its nice to hear feedback about its accuracy. As I'm fairly new to WoW in general I don't have past experiences and knowledge to fall back on.

Pretty much I just scour between multiple wiki-esque sites and of course ask people in game.

There is no database that is 100% accurate to Nostalrius because all the vanilla ones are with 1.12 itemization whereas the server is mostly a 1.4 itemization. Some items do not exist yet, others have wrong stats - as Karrier stated.

For quests, mobs, npcs, recipes and most items - it's accurate. But it's not 100%.

Would it be worthwhile to make one ourselves? I would love to make an exact Nostalrius version Wiki and follow it up so it remains in line with changes in the game

This is something I was wondering as well. If we as a community could collaborate to create a Nostalrius wiki, I think it would be great!

That would be a waste of time given how the items will eventually go to their 1.12 states. Not to mention that it will take a huge amount of effort without directly copying from already existing wikis. Hell wowwiki and wowpedia still have half their pages as though they were still in Cataclysm and Mists of Pandaria.
