Installing on a Mac

I downloaded the client via the Beginner's Guide (through the FAQ portion that lists Mac/Linux).
But I don't know where to go for my next step.
I don't have anything that says Nostalrius in the file. I have a background downloader, data folder, documentation folder, errors folder, eu patches folder, interface folder, logs folder, patch.html, patch.txt, realm list.wtf, WDB folder, World of Warcraft alias, World of Warcraft Install Log.html, WoW Classic App (I'm guessing this is where I need to go), WoW-1.12.0-enUS-patch (2).zip, and a Wow-1.12.0.559xxxxxxx-enUS-patch app.
I would just go ahead and mess with it, but I don't want to DL a patch or anything and screw the process. So looking for a little clarification.

For those wondering:
There are no further steps. You simply download it, double click on the install and launch WoW Classic. There isn't anything with the Nost name on it. WoW Classic is the game.

Go to
https://en.nostalrius.org/#iwannaplay to create a game account.
then...you need to have your realmlist.wtf file set correctly. Using the simpletext applications Notepad or TextEdit open up the realmlist.wtf file in your WoW folder and change it's contents to say exactly either of these:
set realmlist login.nostalrius.org
or
set realmlist login2.nostalrius.org

When I tried it last night (I didn't log in to the world, but I did create a character) I managed to get the Nostralius server without changing anything, including the realmlist.wtf file.
But maybe I'll need to follow these steps once I actually log in.

No.
I logged in. I had to in order to create a character. But I didn't enter the world. Nostalrius Realm was in my realm choice drop down along with player test and a bunch of the other locked test realms. I created a character, just messing around.
I never logged HIM into the world. But I was on my account and able to create a character. We'll see when I actually try to join the world if I have to change that stuff.

you dont have to change that stuff if you already see the servers. not sure what you are posting about here.

Huh? I posted this OP last night.
After a little while, I went and screwed with it anyways because there were no replies. I posted this morning about the game client being WoW classic with no further steps. You then posted (which I appreciated, by the way) that I had to change the realmlist stuff. I posted that I found the realms last night without doing it.

You'll have to forgive us. We're used to a lot of players starting threads here saying they downloaded and installed the game but can't login or can't open WoW and they don't give us any context or information to go off of so we're used to regurgitating the same "read the stickies," "create a game account," "change your realmlist," "select the right realm," etc. soundbites.
