Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I've been unsuccessful in finding an item database that matches the patch that nostalrius is currently running. (Think wowhead or wowdb) there are vanilla versions but all I've seen are 1.12 only and those items are in many cases different.

Anyone who knows if such a resource even exists?

There is no database that is directly connected to Nostalrius. You can use http://db.vanillagaming.org which is not 100% accurate but quite close.

I personally would love to see the Nostalrius staff provide an own item db and a talent calculator, which are always up to date in relation to the current patch / situation.

That is one of the databases ive been trying and it is 1.12 straight up.

If I understand it correctly a ton of items got changed at some point and Nostalrius is currently using the items as they were prior to that change.

I guess it isn't surprising if no database exists that represents pre-chande vanilla, but it is a bit irritating when working to get an item only to realize once you get it that it is one of those items that was changed and that the current version is horrible.

Most item databases provide an item ID script. If you use the item ID script in the game client it will generate a click-able item link that pulls stats directly from the Nostalrius server. This is how I verify an item's stats before beginning a potentially grueling grind for the item. Good Luck!
