Two accounts at the same time

Hello
I know there is a topic on multiboxing, and there is some vage rules about whats allowed, and whats not.
So my question is for a friend of mine, who play horde. He's pvping at lvl 60, With long Queues.
Is it allowed for him too Queue up, and while waiting lvling his alliance alt, and log of the game when the Queue pops? or will he get suspended/banned for doing this?

There was a similar question earlier on these forums, which was answered by a GM / Admin.
He categorized this as banable, I don't remember the exact reason, but it was something along the lines that the waiting time was natural, and was also present in retail (with 1 account).

Get another PC, a different internet connection and boom, you are allowed to do this. No one will know.

Multiboxing refers to playing multiple separate characters simultaneously. This can either be achieved by using multiple separate machines to run the game or by running multiple separate instances of the game. It is against the rules to /follow level characters, run dungeons or raids with multiple characters, PvP with multiple characters, etc. There are only a few situations where multiboxing is allowed in Nostalrius, e.g.:
[*]Trading items between accounts.
[*]Professions, as long as no farming is involved;
i.e. You can have two characters ingame simultaneously for crafting, enchanting, or trading purposes.

Explain "no farming". How do you play this game and not farm herbs, ore, leather, meat, cloth, etc?

They're talking about farming while multiboxing (Playing two or more accounts simultaneously). You're allowed to log on multiple accounts and play them at the same time as long as you're in a capital city using one account to craft, enchant, or trade with your other account. But having both accounts logged on while one farms materials ~that's not allowed.
Otherwise, if you're not logged on to multiple accounts and are simply playing only one, farming is totally fine.

You could have brother playing in next room as an alliance when you queue as an horde.. who would ever know? the ip-address is same anyway in most of the cases when two or more family member plays on same server. And it's not like the game server detects whetever you have 1 or 2 clients open from same computer.. all they see is 2 connections from same ip-address which could cover "your imaginary brother's laptop".
In short, yeah i dont think they will ban you for it. you're pretty much idling with the other account as you are playing with another.. this rule is only to deal with multiboxers or farmers who craft on other and farm materials on other at the same time as described above..

In short: this is a bannable offense. If you get caught, don't come back crying.

Is this what people do for bank alts to get around the 1 item per mail problem? I would definitely use a second account if so, with the second being sat in a major city's bank of course. Will wait for some confirmation first incase it is against the rules

"Update :
