Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

hi guys, im new to the server and to WoW also. my toons name is shaddoxx, hes a lvl 7 undead warlock. any tips, hints, or guidance is welcome. im also looking for people to group with and lvl with. an active / helpful guild would ebe cool also. feel free to friend me, PM me, send me a tell and whatnot.

I've only been playing a week, although I mainly have been playing since start of this week, as I only dabbled last week. Best piece of advice that I can give you is talk to players who are in your starting zone quest area. You will need help at some stage, and other players will ask for help. Some will group only until they've achieved their objective then un-group; others will group and make sure you've completed your quest.

Players will ask for help in the LFG chat channel, which is fine and dandy. Send a whisper (tell) to those players that you also need help with the quest. When you group during a quest, make sure that all players in your group have met the required conditions for the quest and also to complete the turn-in. If things go well, ask to add them to your /friend list.

You will often find that you have a bunch of the same quests to fulfil, so don't be a stranger - make the first contact and develop some relationships. Quite often it's a case of asking players in the vicinity of the quest area what quest are they on, and do they wish to assist or require help.

It's attitude more than anything that helps develop relationships. Those players that are willing to stick around and help out others, especially when things do not go exactly to plan, are the ones that are worth more than the loot that you get.
