Hello I have downloaded, extracted, checked the realmlist in my wtf everything checks out. However when I enter my account name and password I get the unable to connect response. Is this server side or my side?

It´s a common mistake, that ppl don´t register for the server. Did u made an extra account for the server or just for the forums?

https://en.nostalrius.org/ - Click How to Play tab, register your account, check mail for confirmation mail if one should be sent, can't remember if I had to do it, but some services require you to activate your account through a link sent to your registered email.

Also, you mention realmlist in your WTF folder (I suppose you mean inside the config file?) either way, you should change it in the realmlist.txt file in the general World of Warcraft directory as well.

Hey guys I have similar problem since 4-5 days. Loading stays on connected, Handsshaking or retrieving character list for too long. And if I manage to enter the world I have 0 Latency, I can move but can't interact or see andybody around me , sometimes Loading screen freezes at 100% and I need to press alt+f4. I played other online games and there is no problem with them. I did that so I can be sure it is not from my wireless internet. Updated the router firmware, restarted pc, restarted router, deleted wtf and the other folder. But the same 0 Latency in game or cannot get past retrieving character list. Yesterday I managed to play 40 min 60-70 latency and It froze again to 0 latency, no people, no chat etc. Help!
