Question about Nost.

Hello everyone, thanks for taking the time to read my post and hopefully answer my question.
I played World of Warcraft retail pretty consistent from Vanilla through Wrath of the Lich King. In my opinion that was the best time to play this game. So I started doing a little research looking for a Private Server (Since blizzard absolutely refuses to do this) that will be releasing content progressively either on a set time schedule or short time after the community has cleared the content available. In my search I stumbled across Nostalrius.
While doing my researching and reading I found that Nostalrius has a very large and active community, was in development for a considerable amount of time before launch, releases their content progressively and now will have both a PvE and a PvP server.
I also found that there are plans to open a Burning Crusade 2.4.3 server after the completion of all content on the Vanilla 1.12.1 servers and allow players to transfer to this new server to continue their players progression. Is this indeed the case?
I prefer playing on PvE servers because of my need to afk a random times in the world during the day... but I would 100% play on a PvP server if I had to to experience that kind of content progression again. Does anyone know if the plan is still to move on the TBC after the completion of Vanilla?
Once again, thank you for taking the time to read my short story here and answer my question!
