low lvl dungeons

by Zahrada » Fri Sep 11, 2015 10:59 am

Hello. Me and my partner are probably going to try playing on this server. Our question is - how are the low level dungeons? Are they playable? Are they played? How difficult is it to find a group, please? Thank you.

Also.... is healer or tank the most desired role here? Or is there a surplus of both?

Most of the dungeons are well scripted, a few bugs are out there though. Since the most players are still leveling the demand for groups for each dungeon are pretty high, also the demand for tanks. Its always the tank who is missed when forming a group, there are plenty healers out there.

Just as a hint, when you want to start on nostalrius wait for the new pve server to get launched, then you both would have the chance to start on a fresh new server from the very beginning.

Yea as Rhook said, lvling is slow, and zones are "FULL" of people ...u can't even see a minute without some LFG/LFM in instance zones .... only dungeon that is mby a bit harder to build is ST ...otherwise NP .... simply "Enough ppl to find group, and no unexpected bugz in instances"

Thanks! We already started. When we saw this server, we didn't really feel like waiting for another realm to open. Already lvl 10 and we are having so much fun! My partner is new to WoW, we briefly played the retail, but it was boring for both of us. It's funny how a new player prefers the original version for its difficulty = adventure = immersion. We decided to go priest & warlock.

Original "vanilla" WoW and current official "WoW" are different 'animals' really. I laugh when people say we have 'rose tinted glasses' on and blinded by nostalgia. How clueless they are. Comparing vanilla to modern official WoW is like comparing apples to oranges. One group prefers apples, the other oranges. It's that simple and just a fact.

Anyway, hopefully I can log into the game here. I just downloaded it about a hour ago, can log into the forum here and post, but when I enter the same name and password in game, it won't let me in. Blah!

Wish I could join you guys but you'll probably be much higher level by the time I get in... IF I ever get in, actually. lol :)

I don't think so. We are both casual players and take our time. Haven't played for 3 days. I have always been like that. And that was the main problem I had with retail for a long time. We were very casual guild, so by the time we almost finished Ulduar, ToC came out, by the time we almost cleared ICC HC, Cata was launching already, so another reset of everything... it was always like this and it got quite tiresome. I never understood why they were saying that the later raid model (non-existant progression path) was friendly to casual players. But that's another story. I am happy that the low level dungeons are visited and it is possible to find a group for them.
