I've got a shitty laptop from 2014, but I remember being able to play WoW (albeit with poor performances in 2007 with a regular laptop dating from something like 2003. So I'm thinking that by today's standards and the general validity of Moore's law that I my laptop should perform well on Nostalrius. Could someone confirm it ?
Here are my laptop specs :
-Intel® Pentium® N3540 (2,16 GHz) processor
-Intel® HD Graphics graphic card
- 4 Go RAM

Yes it's fine, since the drawdistance is blindingly short, not having a real graphic card is not really handicapping you much.

Is it even possible to buy a computer after 2012 not able to run this version of WoW? Hell people are able to run World of Warcraft on their phones.

The requirements for Vanilla were like Pentium III 256 mb RAM and some dx 9.0 card with 128 mb memory or around that. It is harder to find a pc with those specs that works than to find a pc which cannot run Vanilla.

I remember WAYYY back when when I was a poor high school student I Frankensteined 3 dead PCs into a working one just to pay wow. It had ram from one, mobo/processor from another, psu/case from another and a random heatsink/fan I found. I literally had to use duct tape to secure the fan to the heatsink and it would rattle terribly. I took the small paper box that my bank sent me to hold checks and balanced it on the heatsink while the PC was on its side. With settings as low as they could go I was playing WoW! Keep in mind these were regular old "home-pc" types.
