Of course anyone should be penalized for clear violations of the ToS, but if this really was a misunderstanding it would be interesting to know what exactly happened. The OP is obviously pretty adamant, but not very clear about how/why he is innocent of the violation.

Is it possible for somebody to give you gold and some automated watchdog process flags it as bad for some reason?
